Ki Izakaya-yaya

There’s a new kid on my block. A funky little fusion of Japanese Izakaya and downtempo hipster bar , complete with Edison light bulbs and quilted throws.

This charming beauty is Ki Izakaya. Located just up from lots gourmet (one of my favorite breakfast haunts) on upper changi north road.

The Japanese manga meets shabby Chic decor is pleasant and inviting, making for a comfortable and Eclectic dining experience.

Where else can you dine on Teriyaki beef fries, miso ginger halloumi , salted egg yolk crusted soft shelled crab don rice bowl , california rolls and braised pork belly bao sliders ,while watching Japanese anime and listening to a down tempo jazz rendition of Radioheads Creep.

Recommend for a unique, uncontemporary, dining experience in the East of Singapore.
